Project TURNAROUND
Spring 2003: the project SURFING ENTERPRISE exists
as a carcass inside a Southern France boatyard that faces insolvency
immediately.
At this point in time, new founded company vB-Marine GmbH starts
taking care of the project. At first, property on the existing construction
is being saved. After that, the team of vB-Marine with partners
supervise the continuation of construction, while simultaneously
performing a Due Diligence for interested clients.
Summer/Autumn 2003: the offer for any
takeover of the company can not be suggested. vB-Marine transfers
the SURFING ENTERPRISE under her own engines to another boatyard,
hires employees of the liquidated company and supervises the continuation
of works.
Spring/Summer 2004: due to the
continuing presence and organization by vB-Marine, the SURFING ENTERPRISE
is launched in March 2004 and sails her first 4.000 miles from Marseille
to the North Sea, reaching top speeds of 22 knots.
